Growing and learning as dentistry evolves
Editor-in-Chief David Danesh, Harvard '20, writes: "With us having access to tools such as social media, it seems that everyone can build their brand. Branding, as defined by the ADA Guidelines for Practice Success, is the image, reputation and value proposition associated with a business. It encompasses how people feel about your organization - the image or emotion that comes to mind when they think about it. Take a moment to look around you. Do you see any advertisements? How does seeing that organization or company's name, logo, etc., make you feel? That's marketing and branding in action."
The April issue of Contour is all about gaining a foundational understanding of how you can use marketing and social media to start building your brand. In addition, this issue discusses therapeutic treatment options for oral cancer as well as one student's experience living a reduced-waste lifestyle.
